Terms and conditions of sale - gift vouchers:
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale of gift vouchers offered by Lorevent’S, the company operating Le Château de Tilly.

The purchase of a gift card implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the purchaser.
2. Nature of gift vouchers
Gift vouchers allow the recipient to access the services offered by Le Château de Tilly accommodation, dining, experiences, or specific services.
The gift certificate:
- is non-nominative,
- is issued in electronic format (PDF) by email,
- may be freely offered to a third party.
3. Validity and terms of use
- Standard duration: 12 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated).
- Use by reservation only, subject to availability.
- The voucher number must be provided at the time of booking and presented on the day of the service.
Gift vouchers:
- are exchangeable,
- non-refundable (except for the legal right of withdrawal),
- nor convertible into monetary value.
If not used before expiration: no refund or extension of validity, except in exceptional circumstances.
4. Price
Prices are quoted in euros including tax.
Lorevent'S reserves the right to modify its prices, but the applicable price is the one in effect on the date of the order.
5. Order
All orders are final once:
- the validated basket,
- the accepted Terms and Conditions,
- the actual payment.
Lorevent'S reserves the right to refuse an order in the following cases:
- previous dispute,
- inability to validate payment,
- of suspected fraud.
6. Payment
Payment is made online via the website's secure platform and is payable immediately.
The order is only validated after payment confirmation.
7. Delivery of the gift certificate
The gift certificate is sent by email to the address provided by the purchaser.
In case of non-receipt:
- check your spam folder,
- contact: contact@lechateaudetilly.fr.
Lorevent'S is not responsible for any errors in the address entered by the buyer.
8. Right of withdrawal
General case: no withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services:
- accommodation,
- catering,
- recreational,
- when they must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Special case: undated vouchers
If the gift certificate does not specify date, the purchaser has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the written request.
9. Loss or theft
Gift certificates are treated as securities.
In the event of loss, theft, damage, or fraudulent use, Lorevent'S cannot be held liable.
A duplicate can be provided if the voucher has not been used.
10. Liability
Lorevent'S cannot be held liable for:
- a technical malfunction of the website,
- temporary unavailability of services,
- errors attributable to the buyer (incorrect email address, misuse of the voucher),
- non-contractual images on the website.
11. Data protection (GDPR)
The data collected is necessary for processing orders and is used solely by Lorevent’S.
In accordance with the GDPR, the buyer has the right to:
- access,
- rectification,
- deletion,
- opposition,
- which can be exercised by email: contact@lechateaudetilly.fr.
The data is retained for the legally required period.
12. Force majeure
Lorevent'S cannot be held liable in the event of an unforeseeable and unavoidable event preventing it from fulfilling its obligations (Article 1218 of the Civil Code).
13. Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the buyer may refer the matter free of charge to the competent consumer mediator:
Mediation Tourism and Travel (MTV) – www.mtv.travel.
In the absence of an amicable resolution, any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these GTC shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rouen, even in the event of multiple defendants or the introduction of third parties.
14. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
The purchase of a gift card constitutes full, complete, and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Where is Château de Tilly located?

We are: Next to Bec-Hellouin and its abbey (10 min or 10 km), close to Bourgtheroulde and Bourg-Achard, and 18 min from Neubourg and the Château du Champ de Bataille (18 km), close to Rouen (35 km), on the road to Deauville (1 hour or 60 km) and the D-Day beaches or Giverny (80 km) and only 1 hour 20 minutes from Paris and 2 hours 30 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel.
How to get to Château de Tilly
- By car: At the junction of the A13 and A28 motorways, you'll find us.
- By train: The nearest station is Bourgtheroulde Thuit-Hébert station TER line 852082 from Rouen Rive Droite station. Then take a taxi (10 min). We recommend booking in advance or taking a taxi from Rouen Station (35 min).
- Airport: 45 min from Rouen airport or 1h45 from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.
