The Côte Fleurie, less than an hour from Château de Tilly, invites you on a never-ending journey. From art history with the Impressionists to wide sandy beaches, majestic villas to casinos with remarkable architecture, we invite you to discover the colorful, flavorful, historic, and refined world of the Côte Fleurie.

On the agenda:

  1. 9 a.m.: Honfleur, famous for its port but also its museums
  2. Lunch at a restaurant in town
  3. Head to Cabourg or Deauville, depending on your preference.
  4. Return to Château de Tilly the evening—remember to make a reservation!

9 a.m.: Departure for Honfleur, 50 minutes

We encourage you to stop by the tourist office to pick up some brochures, including a map, then head to the Eugène Boudin Museum. This will take you past the port to another part of the city. You will also pass Sainte-Catherine Church, notable for its painted inverted boat hull roof.

The Eugène Boudin Museum is a kid-friendly museum that will appeal to the whole family. It displays pre-Impressionist collections by artists who passed through Honfleur, as well as temporary exhibitions that are sometimes more original. Impressionism is an essential part of the town's past, as it is considered one of the birthplaces of the movement. To link this visit to Château de Tilly, we currently offer [09/2025] a gourmet menu inspired by Impressionist works. Please ask our staff for more information.

Honfleur is a tourist town and, as such, there are many establishments in the center. Thetourist office offers a map listing the restaurants located in the center. click here to see it.Heading towards the port to stay in the sea air, theEscale offers beautiful seafood platters, and for something more traditional, next to Sainte-Catherine Church you will find Côté Resto , one of the best restaurants in town. L'art du Bistro also has a very good reputation and is located right next to Côté Resto.

Your afternoon: you have two choices


The Côte Fleurie has several iconic towns that have made it famous, both in France and internationally.

Deauville and Cabourg, to name but a few, offer a wide range of activities that vary throughout the seasons.

We encourage you to find out about the various events and activities on offer depending on the time of year you are staying at Château de Tilly, and to make your choice according to your mood at the time!


Cabourg is a family seaside resort par excellence. Its historic town center is worth visiting, its beaches are large, and its restaurants and bars are plentiful. In the pedestrian street, you will find many shops of all kinds, including local products, crafts, souvenir shops, ice cream stands, and waffle stands.

The Villa du Temps Retrouvé can be an original visit that will punctuate a beautiful afternoon spent relaxing and strolling.

The city's casino is worth seeing—perhaps a good idea at the end of the day to relax after all that walking!

For your return to the Château, allow 40 to 50 minutes by car.

Remember to make a reservation at L'Échiquier de Tilly so you can eat on site and avoid having to drive again. Our teams will be ready to welcome you.

Where is Château de Tilly located?

Adresse: 43 allée de Tilly, 27520, Boissey-Le-Châtel, FRANCE

We are: Next to Bec-Hellouin and its abbey (10 min or 10 km), close to Bourgtheroulde and Bourg-Achard, and 18 min from Neubourg and the Château du Champ de Bataille (18 km), close to Rouen (35 km), on the road to Deauville (1 hour or 60 km) and the D-Day beaches or Giverny (80 km) and only 1 hour 20 minutes from Paris and 2 hours 30 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel.
